NAU is located in Flagstaff which is a very beautiful place to live. There are NAU sponsored events that take place almost every weekend so there is always something to do if you're ever bored. The professors are very kind and understanding. They really want to see you succeed! The only downfall would be campus living where the management can be lacking. Overall, it is a great place to go to school with many opportunities for extracurricular activities!

Attending Northern Arizona University is very different than anything I have experienced before. The school offers a lot of diversity, there are always different activities to get involved in, and I like the area of Flagstaff although the snow can sometimes make things difficult but that is expected. The professors are okay, but I have had experiences both good and bad so it just depends. The housing on campus is not great, there are limited options and some are not very nice.

I like how the professors take the time to teach things and make sure that students understand the material. I do think the food could be a bit better. The food is pretty good however sometimes the pizza isn't cooked all the way and sometimes the "clean" silverware isn't actually clean.

I have love this school particularly because of the academics and classes. I feel that every class I have taken has contributed to my learning and has helped with my minor/major. I also have had great professors that are willing to work and meet up together to discuss anything needed. Lastly, there are a lot of campus activities and involvement for the students.

I love attending NAU. I have had a great experience with classes and with socialization on campus. I love Flagstaff as well, there is always something to do whether it be in downtown, on NAU's Campus, or one of the many outdoor scenes.

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at NAU and am excited to continue my education there in the fall to pursue a master's degree in Climate Science. Located in the safe, picturesque community of Flagstaff, AZ, NAU has a balance of both on-campus and off-campus activities and events. Throughout my time at NAU, I created new friendships, interacted with other students through courses and clubs, and managed to secure a part-time on-campus job. If I were to suggest an improvement, it would be regarding the housing situation and the traffic. Flagstaff is still relatively small, so having tens of thousands of people living there is difficult. Thankfully I did not drive often and was able to find housing relatively easily, however I know that this is a struggle for some. Overall, my experience at NAU was positive and I highly recommend the university.

I personally love Flagstaff's local environment and persona. Flagstaff has many small businesses that cater very well to students. Nau's professors are incredibly well educated and very helpful most of the time. The parking situation quite frankly leaves something to be desired, as well as the on campus dining.

I've been at NAU for 2 semesters now and overall it's been great! I chose NAU because I wanted to get away from the heat and the area is more my vibe. And because they offered me the most money.

My overall experience being at NAU is an enjoyable experience. I would say that all or most of my professors care about you and your education and teach well. Housing at NAU varies your experience depending on what housing building you get located at, that means enroll for housing early to get a good dorm. The dorm housing at McConnell is one of the less better housing. The living here is not well, and as it is an old building it shows. The living here, for me, is not a very enjoyable or well experience. I did hear though that the other housing place are better and more enjoyable to live at. I do like that you are not forced to live on campus, and off-campus housing is very close and in the university. The life and diversity that NAU has is so active and inclusive and there are so many clubs that can pertain to anyone, there isn't a club that you could not relate to or peak your interest. I very much like NAU and of the schools that are located in Arizona, I would pick NAU.

NAU has been super fun so far. The campus is very nice overall, with lots of resources available. Big fan of Cline library in particular, and the rec center as both are full of hidden free resources for students if you just explore. What I did not like was the dorms and the wifi. The wifi is notoriously awful, it has made me miss entire classes by being out or making me get locked out of tests. But the dorms were worst of all. Crowded, chaotic, and a mess. In my freshman year, the cops came once a week. It was a nightmare.

As a student athlete here on campus, I have had nothing but positive experiences. The athletic community is nothing but kind and always goes above and beyond to support and uplift their students.

I enjoy the condensed campus making it easy to get to academic buildings by walking and seeing how busy it is during the day.

If you expect to come here and have a decent place to live or go to the classes you need for your major think again. The internet never works, you'll be waitlisted for every class you need, and they don't have enough housing for the amount of students they admit. The professors are fine, but they need to fix this.

Overall I enjoyed my time at Northern Arizona University (NAU). I had a couple amazing professors, a couple terrible one (one so terrible they were fired after my semester in their class), but mostly just average professors. The campus life was okay, nothing special. If you wanted parties or Greek life they were easy to find, if DnD was more your thing then that was easy to find too. It was a pretty classic college experience, and NAU offered a pretty classic college campus. t wasn't anything unique- unless you want to call it uniquely inaccessible. I'm a disabled student, and the accessibility on campus is TERRIBLE. There are so few accessible parking spots, the entire campus is hills, the campus buses didn't stop for me while I was using my accessibility aids, buildings are old and inaccessible, the disability buttons on doors frequently break and remain broken for months at a time, AND not a single member of their Disability office was a disabled person while I was a student.
