Patrick Peckham

Patrick Peckham, an active member of the Wausau community, died Wednesday, March 13 of complications from chemotherapy. He was 75. Pat was born in Cripple Creek, Colorado, the son of the late Ilo (Lindy) and Venor (Doc) Peckham of Mazomanie, WI. After earning a degree in Political Science and Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, he spent the next 45 years working in print journalism.

Pat was locally active in Good News, the Wisconsin Valley Woodturners, the Wausau Wheelers and served 6 years as Alder for the Southeast Side Neighborhood. He was a kind man who enjoyed paddling and fishing, fixing things, turning wooden pens, and tending to his trail cameras.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Connie Peckham, a sister Margaret of Arena, Wisconsin, a brother Perry of Santa Fe, New Mexico, a daughter Elizabeth of Madison and a son Matthew of Milwaukee.

Arrangements are being made by Mid Wisconsin Cremation Society. There will be no service, but a celebration of his life will be held in early summer.

Marguerite (LaVerdure, Korpela, Westphal)

Baumgartner passed away on March 13, 2024 at St Claires Hospital in Weston, WI from complications from a recent fall.

Born September 13, 1938 to Philip J. LaVerdure and Catherine “Kate” (Krpan) LaVerdure of Hurley, WI.

Marguerite aka Maggie attended J. E. Murphy High School, Hurley, WI. She would later attend NorthCentral Technical College in Wausau, WI.

In 1954 she married James Korpela. They had two children, Christine (Korpela) Bisgrove and Gregory Korpela. They divorced in 1969.

In 1970 she married her second husband Harvey Westphal. During this time they worked where the jobs took them. Maggie often joked about having moved over 30 times in her life. With that many moves, came many different jobs. Maggie primarily worked in fields of customer service and sales. Working at places such as Sears, Kmart, Shopko, Mary Kay, B&H Footwear, advertising agencies and multiple radio stations. Which led her to meet her radio idol, Paul Harvey in 1981.

In the 1980s, her grandchildren were born. With her life taking a dramatic turn in March of 1985 when Maggie adopted her Grandson Gregory Korpela Westphal Jr. She would end up divorcing Harvey in 1986, but stayed lifelong friends helping raise Greg Jr together.

Maggie married her third husband Carl Baumgartner on May 15, 1993. With both of them retired, they would move to Florence, WI. They enjoyed their time out in the woods, feeding the birds and deer, however Maggie preferred to be by the water. Her true passion was fishing. They then moved to a house on the Wolf River in Shawano. Maggie could fish with her grandchildren any time they wanted.

Maggie was also a talented crafter and quilter. Maggie loved changing the decorations in her house for every holiday. She was known for her Christmas trees. She made a feature newspaper article in 1983 for having three Christmas trees up in her Mosinee house with over 1000 handmade ornaments on them. She also won numerous 1st Place Medals at County Fairs over the State of Wisconsin and Michigan. Known for her button collection, she was given the nickname “The Button Lady” and enjoyed searching for new and special buttons at garage and rummage sales.

Maggie was very active in genealogy. With her siblings, they pursued the family records of the families as far back as the 1500’s. She has left a legacy of books for remaining relatives to have and view their heritage.

Survivors include: Daughter: Christine (Korpela)

Bisgrove (Kenneth), Grandson: Nicolas Bisgrove (Maria) Great Grandson Jackson Bisgrove. She also has 2 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren out of state.

Additional survivors include Sister: Jeanette (LaVerdure) Maki – Gwinn, MI, Brother: Thomas (Nancy) LaVerdure Hurley, WI and many close cousins.

She was preceded in death by husbands Harvey Westphal and Carl Baumgarter, her son Gregory Korpela and Grandson Gregory Korpela Westphal and her brother-in-law Donald Maki.

The family wishes to thank all the doctors and nurses for their care, concern and help during Marguerite’s last days at St Claires Hospital.

Bruce A. Graveen

Bruce Graveen, 69, of Schofield, passed away suddenly on Saturday, March 16, 2024.

Bruce was born January 12, 1955 in Wausau to parents Martin and Carol (Schultz) Graveen. He married Jill Kaetterhenry on November 15, 1986 in Wausau. He enjoyed being outside while cleaning his car, cooking and grilling while having a beer. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. They always held a special spot in his heart.

He is survived by his wife, Jill Graveen; children, Sarah Graveen and Dave Graveen; grandchildren, Mariah Nordhaus, Lily Nordhaus, and Braxton Graveen along with Aubree and Braydyn. He is further survived by his brother, Tom (Elaine) Graveen, Bob (Wanda) Graveen; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marlyne (Emmanuel) Yesse; and niece, Dixie Yesse.

A funeral service will be held Friday, March 22, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Brainard Funeral Home- Wausau Chapel, 522 Adams Street, Wausau with a visitation beginning at 12:00 noon. He will be laid to Restlawn Memorial Park.

Our family wishes to thank the EMT’s who worked tirelessly on him and the Aspirus ER staff who took exceptional care of him. We want to especially thank Lexi, from Everest Metro, for her care and compassion.

Margie F. Heeren

Margie Heeren, 90, died on March 15, 2024. She was born on September 30, 1933 to Helen and Henry King. Growing up on a farm as one of nine children, Margie lived a simple life…playing in the orchard…walking a long way to and from school…taking welcoming summer plunges in the neighborhood creek in the days before running water…going to the weekly dances at the nearby ballroom… It was at one of these ballroom dances that Margie met the love of her life, Art Heeren. They were married on August 7, 1954. He preceded her in death, dying in her arms on November 27, 1997.

Early on, Margie learned how to work, even being a live-in maid/cook while going to high school. In addition to being a farmer, she held numerous other jobs, working at Marathon Electric, PrangeWay, as a home cleaner, and a seamstress for several laundry services. Probably the job that gave her the greatest fulfillment was when she worked for Home Instead, helping to provide some in-home care for people who soon became friends. Margie always got great satisfaction in helping others in whatever way she could.

The family would like to thank the numerous people who helped Mom as she battled numerous ailments her last years. We especially would like to thank Dr. Logrono of Marshfield Clinic, the staff and residents at Mountain Terrace Assisted Living,, Marshfield Clinic, Aspirus Hospitals, and Aspirus Hospice Care.

Margie is survived by her son Bill (Linda) and their children, Bethany and Melissa, daughter Julie (Pete) Kage and their children Dana (Matt) Jackan and Amanda (Matt) Davis. Her legacy also lives on in two great grandsons, John Davis, and Luke Jackan. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband Art, son Denny, siblings Leona, Irene, Tony, Lloyd, Erv, Ivan, Don, and Delores (Dorie/Dee) Heilmeier.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Catholic Church, 611 Stark Street Wausau, on Thursday, March 21, 2024. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. being presided by Fr. Tom Lindner. Interment at Restlawn Memorial Park will follow the ceremony.

Margie has run her race. May we remember her in the smiles we share and the good we do for others.

Oh Lord, thank you for granting us our time with Margie.O Lord, please grant eternal rest onto Margie, and let Your perpetual light shine upon her.

Mark L. Nagel, 63, Wausau passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2024 while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born August 17, 1960 in Wausau, son of the late Ralph and Gladys (Dallman) Nagel. On October 14, 1995 he married Lisa Lesperance-Wopp in Wausau. She survives.

Mark worked at the former Central Fabricators in Schofield, Marathon Cheese and also for the Park Department at the Marathon County Shooting Range. Mark was also the owner of Central Wisconsin Bumper and Supply.

Mark enjoyed bench rest shooting at the 600 Yard Club shooting range in which he was the President of the club for several years. He had won many awards and took first place in several of the competitions over the years, which now cover the walls of his home. Mark made several very good friends working as range master for the Corbin shooting range and enjoyed teaching others about guns and shooting.

His love for being a marksman at his hobby was only surpassed by his love of cars and Street Rods. He enjoyed attending car shows with his wife and stepson, being a member of WI Road Knights Car Club and showing off his 1941 Willys Coupe.

Mark was a good man that loved God and was a devoted husband who loved his family and his yellow Labrador Retriever. He fought his illness with strength and courage until the very end when Jesus called him home. His only desire was to be at home with his wife and family, which his wife Lisa made possible for him. He will be greatly missed by many.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lisa Nagel, Wausau, his stepson, Greg (Danielle Bergmann) Wopp, Wausau, one daughter, Amber Renken, Merrill, one grandson, Waylan Wopp and his in laws, Lynn Lesperance-Cox (Mike Cox), Greg (Diana) Lesperance, Debra (Tom) Niekamp.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Paula Wopp.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. Myrna L. Gassner

Myrna L. Gassner, 85, Marathon passed away peacefully on Friday, March 15, 2024 while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at the Hospice House, Wausau.

Myrna Louise Gassner was born December 1, 1938 to Stanley and Melonia (Sonnentag) Jagodzinski in Wausau, WI. She married Frank R. Gassner September 15, 1962, son of Richard L. and Marie (Sauter) Gassner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Marathon, WI.

She served a life of kindness, patience, selflessness, and concern for others, utilizing her gifts to take care of the sick and in raising her family. In taking care of her grandmother, she knew her calling was to become a nurse. She graduated from St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Wausau in 1959. She became the head nurse of the surgical patient floor at a time when the hospital did not have an emergency care unit nor a resident doctor. Myrna met Frank after being his nurse, caring for him as a patient at her hospital. Mryna loved her chosen career but left the field to raise her family which included three children under the age of four.

The education of her children was important to her, and she taught all of her children to read before they were enrolled in kindergarten. She was a strong supporter of the activities of her children and grandchildren to include musical performances and athletic activities. Myrna also enjoyed the company of her friends attending Packer parties and playing bridge. Sunday mornings were typically spent listening to polkas. In her retirement years with Frank, the couple enjoyed many trips to Alaska, Hawaii, the Caribbean, and Europe.

Survivors include her husband Frank, son Gregg (Linda Ann) Gassner Wausau WI, two daughters Cheryl (Thomas) Waller Verona WI, Linda Marie (Daniel) Gassner Turek Fitchburg WI. Grandchildren: Ryan R. Gassner, Abigail E. Waller, Matthew T. Waller, and Nathan F. Waller. Additional survivors include her siblings Marlene (Leroy) Socha, Stanley (Ann) Jagodzinski and Mary (Gary) Jeub. Sisters-in-law Rita Gassner and Joan Seubert.

Myrna was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law James Gassner and John Seubert.

The Gassner family expresses gratitude for Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diermeier and David Martin for their pastoral care providing both prayers, support, and comfort during Myrna’s brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. The family would also like to thank the Aspirus Clinic, Hospice Care, Hospice House for their excellent care.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Noon on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Msgr. Jospeh Diermeier will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services, all at the church. John H. Gallagher

John Gallagher, age 73, of Madison, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 10, 2024.

He was born in Madison, WI on October 20, 1950, to James and Edith (McChesney) Gallagher. John graduated from Edgewood High School in 1968 and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

In 1986 he married Barbara Law, also from Madison, and they made Fitchburg their home for 38 years. John joined his father and uncle in the family business and became the 4th generation to run the John Gallagher Company, which was established in 1880. During his years operating the company, he served as president of the Upper Midwest Canvas Products Association. His company earned numerous awards for outstanding projects throughout the Midwest.

John Gallagher Company’s history of providing tents for county fairs offered “young John” and his friends a great summer job. One fair in particular, The Walworth County Fair, Gallagher Tent and Awning has been servicing for over 100 years. Spending Labor Day weekend at The Walworth County Fair is a long standing family tradition that John always enjoyed. He developed lifelong friendships and was named an honorary marshal.

John enjoyed golf outings with his friends, as well as attending football and basketball games of his favorite team, the Wisconsin Badgers. Though his most cherished moments were spent with his family traveling, having adventures or just laughing and being together. John always said, “My family is my life, and everything else is second.”

John is survived by his wife, Barbara, five children: Ryan (Mary) of Wausau, Nicholas (Katie) of Fitchburg, Melissa and Jaclyn both of Madison and Matthew of Tulsa, OK. Four grandchildren, a sister Jane Grace, brothers and sisters-in-laws and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.

A visitation will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison on Thursday, March 21 from 4:00-7:00pm. A mass will be held on Friday, March 22 at Blessed Sacrament, 2116 Hollister Avenue at 11:00am. Friends may greet the family an hour prior to the service.

It is with heavy hearts, we share the passing of Patricia “Pat” Agnes Rust, a beloved wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and adored great-grandmother. She peacefully departed on March 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love for her family to cherish.

Born on October 1, 1940, in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, to Raymond and Jean Sullivan, Patricia was blessed with parental love and the companionship of her dear brother, Michael Sullivan. Raised in Wisconsin, she embraced the values of family bonds and life’s simple joys.

On September 11, 1965, Patricia married her beloved Richard “Dick” at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, commencing a love-filled journey spanning nearly six decades.

Patricia initially served as a Registered Nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire before dedicating herself to nurturing her three daughters, Julie, Lori, and Cathy, with endless love, patience, and support.

Her warmth and wisdom touched the lives of her five grandchildren: Jordan, Jacob, Emily, Ben, and Sam and two great-grandchildren Harper and Anna, creating cherished memories of love and laughter.

Although Patricia has bid farewell to this world, her spirit lives on in the generations she shaped and the love she shared. She remains in our hearts and is survived by her husband, Richard, her children: Julie (John) Rathke, Lori (Thomas) Kneer, Cathy (Michael) McClellan, her grandchildren & great-grandchildren: Jordan Rathke, Jacob (Riley) Rathke, Emily (Garrett) Lee, Ben Kneer, Sam Kneer, Harper Lee, and Anna Lee, nieces Nancy Anderson, Patti Nowak, Michelle Sullivan, Kelli Sullivan, Casey Sullivan and nephew Joe Sullivan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Jean Sullivan, her father in law and mother in law Donald and Marion Rust, brother Michael Sullivan, sister-in-law Mary Lou Nowak, brother-in-law Hugh Nowak, nephews Steve and Mike Nowak and son-in-law Kevin Kinnick. Patricia leaves behind many cherished friends that held a special place in her heart.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 23rd at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Eau Claire, WI. The family will greet relatives and friends on Saturday morning at the church from 10:00 -11:00 AM. The burial will take place at a later date. May her spirit rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire love and kindness in all who knew her.

Virginia R. (Boettcher) Grothe, age 88, died Sunday, March 10, 2024, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Mount View Care Center in Wausau, Wisconsin.

She was born in Tomah, Wisconsin, on September 16, 1935. She was the daughter of Rev. Robert and Edna (Mengedoth) Boettcher. On August 20, 1960, she married the love of her life, Rolland L. Grothe.

She was a teacher at Wilson Elementary School in Janesville, Wisconsin, for 30 years. Following retirement, she spent time with family and friends, enjoyed time at the family’s Wisconsin cabin, and spent winters in Arizona. She was also very active in the United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her loving children John (Darlene) Grothe and Debra (Randall) Singletary; along with grandchildren Alyssa (Kolby) Davis, Zachary (Heather, fiancé) Grothe, Nicholas (Ashlynne, fiancé) Singletary, and Tatiana Singletary; and great-grandchildren Isabell, Addie, Max, Weston, Asher, Teiah, and Hezekiah. She is also survived by her sisters Lila Rouse and Patricia “Pat” Boettcher. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and grandson Brock.

A Celebration of Virginia’s life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Gathering Place in Milton, WI. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2024 at Milton Lawn’s Cemetery, Janesville. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to your local hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association in Virginia’s memory.

Wendy passed away at Care Partners in Weston, WI on March 6th,2024

She was born on March 23,1953 to William and Betty ( Jones) Webster in Tomahawk ,WI

Wendy Graduated from Merrill High School in 1972.

Wendy was a hard worker and was employed as a Caregiver for most of her career and retired from Wire Products Merrill in 2009.

She owned and operated Wendy’s daycare for many years, raised her Daughter Jackie and enjoyed Spending time with her and enjoying many trips and outings as possible.

Wendy became a Grandma in 2009 and her twin grandkids were the high light of her life and she spent as much time as she could and helped Jackie care for them from the time they were born till they got into school,

Grandma was loved by Allayah and Hayden Arrowood for 14 years.

Allayah and Hayden enjoyed when Grandma would come to their school events or went places with them, such as their favorite activity, swimming,

Wendy enjoyed spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed having cook outs on the summer holidays and birthdays.

Wendy also enjoyed playing cards with the ladies at Care Partners and making friends with many of the residents and the staff that worked there.

Wendy is survived by her daughter Jacklyn (Jackie) Arrowood and her partner Mike and her grandchildren Allayah and Hayden Arrowood. Her sister Jayne (TIm) Dupke , and her Brothers Reid ,Joe and Tim Webster and Great Aunt Barb Miche and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A private service will be at her Home of 6 years Care Partners

A Celebration of Wendy’s life will be May 11, 2024 at 11 am at the Wausau Town Hall, 161484 County RD Z, Wausau, WI 54403.

Jackie and her family wish to thank the staff at Care Partners for many years of wonderful help for Wendy. Compassuis hospice for the excellent care they showed Wendy.

Lila M. Rickert, 82 of Birnamwood, died on Friday, March 15, 2024, at home under the care of LeRoyer Hospice.

Lila was born on November 19, 1941, in the town of Pella, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Alma (Pankow) Malueg. Lila married LeRoy Rickert on June 29, 1968, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mattoon. Together they farmed in the town of Hutchins until retirement in 1999.

Lila is survived by two daughters, Sarah (Steven) Matsche of Hatley and Jennifer (Dewey) Tousey of Birnamwood; two grandchildren, Dylan Matsche and Paula Tousey; two sisters, Kathy Malueg of Tigerton and Linda Rickert of Mattoon; two brothers, Sonny (Jane) Malueg of Caroline and Merlyn Malueg of Tigerton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Janice Malueg, Darlene Heins, Leon Chroge, Lester Rickert, Nancy (Robert) Grunewald, Keith (Lori) Rickert and Doug Rickert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Lila was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy; parents; son, Paul; three brothers, Vilas, Larry and Elroy Malueg; sister, Sylvia Block; niece, Cherrie Malueg; nephew, Steven Rickert and brothers and sisters-in-law, Dick Rickert, Elmer Block, Emeline Chroge, Malcolm Heins, Randy Rickert and Dale (Janise) Rickert.

Maryann “Lisa” Starke, 77, of Schofield, WI lost her battle withDementia on March 3, 2024, with her family by her side.

She went by her middle name Lisa to those who knew her well. Shewas the oldest of three born to Joseph & Martha Navarra on June 21,1946 in Brooklyn, NY.

After high school and some time to travel and spread her wings shemarried, Arnold Starke. They made a home on Long Island, NY. It wasthere that they added to their family by adopting 3 brothers, James,Robert & Matthew, making a home for them. They later divorced butstayed close friends as they lived their separate lives.

The dementia may have taken a lot from her, but never robbed her ofher love of her god, Jehovah. And, it never kept her from sharing herhope for the future from others. She dedicated her life to him as one ofJehovah’s Witnesses shortly after adopting the boys and her faithalways remained strong, even when her body and mind started to failher. She was part of the Rib Mountain Congregation at the time of herdeath. She loved reading and always had her bible on hand in theseat of her walker.

She moved to Florida about 20 years ago and thoroughly enjoyedworking for Disney & Sea World. She could talk for hours about hertime working as a ride operator for the “It’s a Small World” ride. Sheworked at the park until the dementia forced her to finally retire.It was at that time that her family moved her to Wisconsin to have hercloser to them to be able to care for her.

She is predeceased in death by her ex-husband, Arnold Starke . Herson Matthew Starke. And, her nephew, Robbie Navarra.

She is survived by her brother, Fred (Evelyn) Navarra, NY. Her sisterMartha Navarra, FL. Her son James Starke, NY. Her son Robert(Dawn) Starke, WI.Four grandchildren, Lisa Marie Starke, NY. Jeanne Louise (Zoellner) Grosskopf passed away at Wausau Manor on March 7, 2024.

She was born on March 5, 1937 in Marshfield, WI to Theodore and Helen (Aschebrook) Zoellner, the second of five children

Growing up in Stratford, WI, she graduated from Stratford High School in 1955

After graduation she worked as a secretary in the insurance industry in Wausau from 1955-58.

She returned to the workforce in 1966 as a data processor in the business office of Waukesha Memorial Hospital until her retirement in 1995.

While living in Waukesha she was active in her church and her children’s school activities.

After retirement in 1996, she moved to Village of Rib Mountain to be closer to family.

United in marriage to Quinten Clark Grosskopf on Nov 22, 1958 at Zion Lutheran Church in Stratford, WI.

She enjoyed all things family and friends to include visiting all her oldest son’s duty stations while he was in the Navy.

Visiting her son Kevin and his family in Montana was a special treat she enjoyed several times over the years.

She especially loved being with her mother and her 4 brothers and sisters.

Her social calendar always included a daily trip to the local grocery store.

Bowling with her husband and playing cribbage was always on the calendar.

She had 3 children:

Jeanne is also survived by her sister Marjorie Zoellner Hayes and a brother Frederick Zoellner.

Services will be held at John J. Buettgen Funeral Home on Saturday, April 13, 2024 with Visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 12:30 p.m.

Quinten Clark Grosskopf passed away on March 9, 2024 at Wausau Aspirus Hospital

Born on September 18, 1934 to Rudolph and Alma (Miller) Grosskopf in Mattoon, WI, the fourth of four sons.

Grew up on the family farm near Bowler, WI and graduated from Bowler High School in 1952

Graduated from UW-Stevens Point Teacher’s College in 1956 and began his teaching career at Stratford High School teaching Mathematics

It was while in Stratford he met his wife, Jeanne Louise Zoellner and they had 3 children.

He then completed coursework at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Northern Iowa, University of Iowa, and the University of Missouri.

He graduated with a Masters Degree in Mathematics and began to teach college math at Keokuk Junior College in Keokuk, IA from 1961 to 1966.

Always the teacher, he then accepted a position as an Associate Professor of Mathematics at Carroll University in Waukesha, WI.

While in Waukesha, he was active in his church, enjoyed bowling with friends and wife, and supporting his 3 children’s activities.

His vegetable garden in Waukesha was always a place to relax, get some exercise and share it’s spoils with friends and neighbors.

He remained there until his retirement in 1995, retiring as an Associate Professor Emeritus of Mathematics.

After retirement he and his wife Jeanne moved to Rib Mountain to be closer to both sides of the family.

He enjoyed time with family and friends, gardening on the the family farm in Bowler, traveling to his son’s various duty stations.

He was an avid Civil War and opera buff, always reading and listening to a variety of opera music when he could.

Quin and Jeanne are survived by son Kelly (Barb) Grosskopf from Davenport, IA, Kurt (Anita Wobst) Grosskopf from West Allis, WI,Granddaughter Brittany Grosskopf in Mosinee, WI, Grandson Matthew (Megan) Grosskopf in Madison, IN and great-grandson Mason Grosskopf in Madison, IN as wellas numerous nieces and nephews.
